Read your article on the Bachmann GP-35.

Two points, (1) NCE makes a decoder for these locos;
            (2) those &quot;resistors&quot; are in fact coils or as we say in the trade, chokes. A choke acts like a resistor when AC  passes through it or as is the case with DCC, pulsing DC.

I too am looking to fancy up my five GP-35&#039;s.

If you take off the fuel tank and flip it over, it is full of dimples where holes would be.
