The Scrap Yard

It finally looks like GM Metals has been around for a long time. Or at least some of the junk there does. This area became the new home of some of the trees I made up for the Truro show.

You can just barely see Dickie Clothing through the dense canopy. The big notch at the left is where my lift-out bridge fits in. I need to get more junk, although Kim says I have enough junk now! Ha!

You never have the “right” junk when you need it. But you find it the day after to buy it :-)

It’s all in the eye of the beholder.

Junk yards are the poor man’s Wal Mart! One can go broke wandering through a junk yard. Oh, I can fix that up next Saturday, not. That looks like it will fit my hutmobile; not.

    Good work Scott!

Yes they are very nice to have around. You never know what you might find – a decent old tire for the winter beater, and old 44 ton switcher that bit the dust, or a crappy old steamer that didn’t work so well. They are the final resting places for lots of cool stuff. (Hmmm…, I’ll have to go through my good junk drawer to find some more crappy junk for GM Metals.

    Thanks for dropping by!
