That seems like a whole lot of effort for a holder! Good idea on having them though, it never really occured to me... - I was thinking of a coat hanger twisted to form a crab claw, with dots of hot glue or whatever on the rough tips to stop scratching....

It wasn't a lot of work at all. About 15 minutes was all it took. I will make more as the scraps become available.

You'd want to be extra careful the the blob of glue does not come off the wire. Someone could get quite a snag. What system/throttles do you use?

The holders we had been using were intended as a cell phone holder and were adjustable in width. At $1 each they were perfect for a throttle holder.

Your version of the holder looks good Scott - I snagged three of the Dollar Store holders probably 5-6 years ago, and your right - I haven't seen any lately. Have a great long weekend.

PS - I painted the lake bottom tonight - hopefully will be ready to take some pictures soon....

Wayne

We saw them on a recent trip but not at a Dollar Store. They were $11 each. There was no way in #$@@ I was going to pay that!

I'm looking forward to an update on the Nottingham Sub. blog!

Scott

A version, not as finished, is what I have on the WRS.

Doug

It's just a little paint. I didn't even bother to fill the nail holes.
